CBS Sports Network will carry six games in Week 9 of the 2026 college football season, beginning Tuesday night and ending with a four-game Saturday. Every game will be available on the network, on CBSSports.com and through the CBS Sports app.

The week opens Tuesday, Oct. 27, when Delaware visits Western Kentucky in a Conference USA game at Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Western Kentucky is a 1.5-point favorite, according to the SportsLine consensus. The Hilltoppers faced a difficult early schedule but have won two straight since conference play began. A third win would put them at 3-1 in CUSA and keep them close to Liberty and Jacksonville State. Their improving defense will be tested by a Delaware team that scored 61 points in its last game, against Missouri State.

On Wednesday, Oct. 28, Kennesaw State travels to Murfreesboro, Tennessee, to face Middle Tennessee at 7 p.m. ET. Middle Tennessee is a 3-point favorite. The Blue Raiders have won two straight games by three points each, moving above .500 overall and to 2-1 in the conference. Quarterback Roman Gagliano leads CUSA with 12 touchdown passes and has thrown only two interceptions. Kennesaw State arrives at 1-6 overall and 0-3 in CUSA after a loss to Liberty, one year after winning the conference title game.

Saturday, Oct. 31, begins at noon ET in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where Bowling Green meets Western Michigan. The Broncos are favored by 13.5 points. They suffered their first MAC loss last week in a shootout with Toledo, but remain in the race for a trip to Detroit. Bowling Green is 2-6 overall, though Eddie George's Falcons are 2-2 in MAC play and have lost both conference games by one score.

At 3:30 p.m. ET, FIU visits Liberty in Lynchburg, Virginia. The Flames are 14.5-point favorites and remain unbeaten in CUSA play after a dominant road win at Kennesaw State. Their offense, led by quarterback Deshawn Purdie and running back Kam Davis, is considered among the most explosive in the Group of Six. FIU has a stout defense and has stayed competitive in every game, though it has lost back-to-back games. The question is whether the Panthers can score enough to keep pace for 60 minutes.

The evening begins at 7 p.m. ET in San Diego, where Washington State plays San Diego State in a Pac-12 game. The Aztecs are 2.5-point favorites. San Diego State is 3-5 after facing a demanding schedule that included James Madison, Toledo and Oregon State, and it lost a shootout at Colorado State last week. Washington State is winless in conference play and is coming off a loss to Boise State that slipped away late. The Cougars rely on their defense while their offense has struggled, and the Aztecs have played in high-scoring games for most of the season.

The night ends at 10:30 p.m. ET at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, where UNLV hosts Northern Illinois. The Rebels are 24-point favorites. UNLV started slowly but has played more like the contender many expected, and although its playoff hopes ended with a shootout loss to Air Force two weeks ago, it can still reach its goals in conference play. It returns from a bye week against an NIU team that is 0-7 in its first season in the Mountain West after leaving the MAC.
